We were fishing on the River Carron last week, just off the Kyle of Sutherland. So apologies for the lack of posts.
One of the characteristics of these north Highland rivers is that they go up and down very quickly depending on the amount of rain. We saw this last week when one day’s rain caused the river to rise by three feet in a few hours, falling again almost as quickly. The high water made the river largely unfishable, so there was time for a few photographs.
