We had a sudden heavy downpour this afternoon, followed by bright sunshine. When I stepped outside the door I saw a full rainbow, rushed back for my camera and took this shot.

When I looked it afterwards the rainbow had lost oa lot of the intensity I had seen. I’m not sure why that was but I resorted to some manipulation to make the image more like what I remember seeing. I try to avoid such trickery …. but needs must.
