On our first evening in Ronda we went for a walk near the town and came across this wonderful C9 church carved into the rock on a cliff face looking over Ronda. It was both a church and a monastery with accomodation for up to five monks. The church was closed but there was a man cleaning the connected, modern chapel who kindly let us in and showed us around.
