I found myself today in the village of Wentworth in South Yorkshire. This is still in many ways a traditional ‘estate village’ in the shadow of Wentworth Woodhouse. The estate and the house are now in separate ownership but the estate continues to maintain the village to a high standard. And as you can see, the residents play a full part in keeping the village looking immaculate.
