Dyker: a person who makes dykes

Rogan has been making and repairing dykes for us now for may years. He arrives as and when he has time, and usually when the weather is at its worst. On this day he was working in wind, sleet and snow but, with his head down and his music player protected by a plastic bucket, he was his normal chilled and relaxed self.
