One of the wonders of Sydney is the Botanic Gardens, sitting right in the centre of the city. After the Picasso yesterday we walked through the gardens, admiring in particular the collection of mature trees.

In the middle of the gardens is the old Government House, looking like it has been transported in from the Home Counties. It is perhaps the least Australian looking building I have seen so far on the trip.
