Well it has really rained today! It is not really the weather for going to the beach but as it is our last day in Sydney we thought we ought to see the Pacific. So we got on the ferry and went off to Manly, a Sydney suburb and surfing centre on the ocean.

I suspect that Manly would always look a little like an English seaside town, but it certainly did in the rain.

But Manly is a small place and so it doesn’t take long to walk out of the town and find somewhere deserted, like Collins Cove. Though I doubt it would have been so deserted if it wasn’t pouring with rain.
