We left Urbino this morning and headed south across the region of Le Marche to find our ‘Casa’ for the next three weeks. We travelled cross-country which took longer but allowed us to start to appreciate the green and rolling hills of this little known part of Italy.

Our Casa when we found it surprised us with an unexpected but wonderful view south over the snow-capped Monti Sibbilini mountains. It looks like there is lots to explore there over the next few weeks.

And the views to the north aren’t bad either!
