Following on from yesterday’s photo shoot I had a relaxed day to day making photogravures at Green Door Printmakers in Derby, an excellent open access printmaking studio. I wanted to experiment with using pigment to hand colour parts of a newly-made print.

As ever, less is more, and the touches to the visor of the helmet round off nicely this image of my friend and former colleague Keith Haviland with some of his collection of space materials.
