If the time came when you had to leave Britain … and the political class are certainly trying our patience at present … Finland might well be on the short list of attractive alternatives. The people are delightful, the air is clean and, outside of Helsinki anyway, people remain grounded in the country. The weekly hunting programmes on the national TV stations would be unlikely to find favour on the BBC. So goodbye Finland for now; we shall be back.

It must be admitted though that the language is impenetrable, and passports hard to obtain. Ah well!
